Today, most pharmaceutical information already exists in a digital format, however, it is not easily accessible to patients. We structure and enrich the information in order to build a conversational interface on top. Using existing Natural Language Processing solutions, we will be able to offer the service as a chatbot or through voice assistants.

As a Data Architect you own the data entity model, and technical vision for the architecture and data pipeline. Together with your team consisting of Engineers, Product Owner and Product Designer, you will plan and build the product.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with your Product Owner and Digital Product Designer to understand the key use cases and user flows of our end users.
  • Continuously shape our data entity models in a way that they support not only the immediately upcoming iterations in the product but also the long-term product direction.
  • Ensure that all team members and internal users can easily explore the data model and API to take decisions on how to best use it in their services.
  • Create transparency on the overall architecture, from data sources to consuming user interfaces and further evolve and shape the architecture in cooperation with your team.
  • Evaluate and explore new data sources in order to extend the offered services and enable internationalisation of the product.
  • Create easy-to-read, fast and well-architected quality code for the constant improvement of our ETL/ELT pipeline that connects various data sources and offers the data as a unified API.
  • Closely cooperate with Data Engineers and Backend Engineers to teach and learn something new.

Your profile

  • You have at least 4 years of experience as an Engineer or Architect in an agile environment, building a product in small increments.
  • Are a German native speaker and have excellent English language skills in speaking and writing.
  • You are a problem solver who approaches arising obstacles by presenting structured and pragmatic solution options.
  • Enjoy close effective cooperation with your team and believe that together we can accomplish more than alone.
  • Share our passion of building a products for people living with chronic diseases.
  • Experience in DevOps, DataOps.
  • Production-grade coding skills in Python and ability to create ETL/ELT pipeline and APIs.
  • Familiar with cloud environments, preferably AWS (Glue, Lambda, RDS, S3, ...).
  • Experience in working with microservices and serverless applications.
